Co-op volunteers have been busy working with Lorelei Fiset from Pinnacle Communications and Media, mapping out our Strategic, Marketing and Business Plans for the next 3 years!
A grant from 2018 allowed us to hire marketing extraordinaire, Lorelei Fiset to create a Strategic Plan. From this, Business and Marketing Plans are also being created. The many goals we have now have the step-by-step means to achieving them!
One of the most important goals for 2019 was to hire our first employee. Now knowing the strategic actions and financial decisions required, we have done just that! Our purchaser, Sharon Greenwood, will be our first paid employee! It will be part-time although she will probably be doing full-time work! Sharon has a retail background and ran a bulk bin store in Lumby some years ago. We hope to hire our second employee by the end of the year.
